The Maltese is recently known as a beautiful, cute companion dog. But how was it before? What was it bred for at beginning?
This precious little dog was originally used for solving rodent problems in Europe. Not much later people realized how adorable it is, and that due to the fact that its full of affection it can be a perfect companion dog. It became the favorite pet of many famous people, and the popularity of this pretty breed isn’t decreasing: Elizabeth Taylor, Eva Longoria, Halle Berry, Lindsay Lohan and many other celebrities own a Maltese.
